MD and founder of Intrinsic FE, Chris combines an innate technical expertise with a broad knowledge of the property sector to deliver sound professional advice and practical engineering solutions. He brings more than 35 years’ experience in building engineering services at operational, management and strategic levels and has held senior positions in industry leading businesses. With his keen eye for detail, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate solutions that help Clients make better informed decisions, Chris is known for delivering results that yield real value.

What’s something not many people know about you? I’m a fully trained On-Call Firefighter at my local fire station
What do you like to do when not working (or firefighting)? Spending time with my family and our three boys; skiing; sailing; golf.
Ben enjoys an established track record for quality technical advice and solutions that deliver added value for Clients. With his extensive experience across engineering services within the built environment, Ben leads the management and delivery of Intrinsic’s Technical Management and Engineering Consultancy services. He recognises the importance of understanding Clients’ technical needs, and his open and collaborative approach fosters enduring relationships built on trust and mutual respect.

Steve combines a comprehensive M&E background with more than 30 years’ expertise in the sector. He boasts multi-site facilities and project management experience across a broad range of hotel, retail, and commercial properties. From surveys, audits, and reports to specification, tender and mobilisation, Steve is committed to driving exemplary Client satisfaction and service. His well-reasoned engineering decisions serve to increase the reliability and life cycle of Clients’ assets and maintain the operational efficiency and excellence of their buildings.

Who would you choose to be trapped in a confined space with? Bear Grylls: I’d want to be with somebody who’s likely to get us both out again.
Sam has over 15 years’ experience across building services, facilities management and technical consultancy. He supports clients with engineering audits, maintenance tenders, surveys, technical reviews and practical operational advice. Known for his clear communication and collaborative approach, Sam builds strong relationships with managing agents, landlords and contractors while helping teams deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective building performance.

Emma’s number-crunching and communication skills are integral to advancing Intrinsic’s strategic ambitions. Passionate about authentic communications and cutting through the jargon, her professional experience is born of a background in Public Relations. It spans several decades across the non-profit, public, and commercial sectors. Emma is also a certified Mental Health First Aider.
